The morning birdwatching is the favorite program of the August days in Hortobágy. The National Park organizes a morning birding program around the Hortobágy fishponds every week.

They will definitely show off the ducks in the family photo album, unique images of summer geese and other waterfowl!

The curiosity of the children on the Tisza Lake Water Promenade will surely satisfy the curiosity of the children.. Where the marking of birds flying into the thin-fiber net can be observed. You certainly haven't seen it up close!

Travel by train in a fishpond environment? You must have never experienced this before! At least in our country. This is the only small railway in Hungary, which runs in a fishpond environment.
The Hortobágy-Halastavi Kisvasút also makes the more distant parts of the fishpond system accessible, thus also the water system and industrial historical monuments of the nearly hundred-year-old pond farm.
